About

half a day

Nin is Croatia's oldest royal town, set on an islet in a shallow lagoon north of Zadar. It lies about 55 kilometres from Polača, roughly an hour's drive. Nin holds the church of the Holy Cross, described as the smallest cathedral in the world, and the remains of a Roman temple. Queen's Beach is one of the largest sandy beaches on the Adriatic, and deposits of healing mud lie nearby. The Nin saltworks still harvest salt the traditional way.
