About

Novigrad sits on the Novigrad Sea, an enclosed bay linked to the open sea by the narrow Novsko ždrilo strait. It is roughly 28 kilometres from Polača, about a 40-minute drive. The bay is sheltered from the wind so the water stays calm, which suits families with small children. The remains of the medieval Novigrad fortress stand above the village.
